the whole jimin shirt controversy?

I want your honest opinion on it but without any bashing and kindly refrain from arguing with other users in this thread.

For me since i am not from either countries, i feel like this issue is more about nationalistic pride, both sides do not want to admit they have blown this out of proportion, its a case of our forefathers did it & the future generations has to pay the price. Most of the people who are going after jimin aint alive when the said stuff happen. It would be better if everyone can let make peace with their pride.

From his fan? I don't think so.

He wore a shirt in chicago that had pictures of the bombing in japan on it. The shirt was disrespectful to the victims and jimin hasn't apologized yet probably because k netz will hate him then.

Yea he apparently got it from his fan
I feel like he should've thought more about what he wore
and the fan should've thought about this as well
Most importantly: I don't even understand what clothing brand would think it's ok to make such a shirts to begin with

He is a public figure and the Japanese and American market are extremely important. Especially to BTS and BigHit.
He should know better
It is a difficult situation though:
Don't apologise: Japan is already kicking them out and music shows are already cancelling on them
Apologize: Lose Korean support (maybe)
I didn't know he wore it in Chicago though, people made it seem like he wore it in Japan

Well shit I hope the fan who got him it knows they messed up...why would you get an idol you like a shirt that shows a bombing. That is like a fan giving him a shirt with the twin towers being run through on it.
