Clearly spotify is pissed over Korea.

Those global plays mean far more to Kakao M and teh artist they represent than they do to spotify. They have the stick. You want access to 8 billion people or 50 million your call.

tbh they'll probably renegotiate–– while this may benefit Kakao M and their subsidiaries, the independent labels that work with them will probably be more affected and i doubt they'd just lay down and take this.

Might be in the process of removal, i think more songs will be removed soon, 70% of the kpop industry is distributed by kakao, only the top 3-4 & some other companies have their own distribution channels or different distributors.
