Even though her scandal was last year and she apologized 3 times already, did she eventually gain the public's trust again? Her movie Double patty did very well despite it being an indie movie and also it being low-budget. She gained a lot of praises from knetz and Korean movie critics. Some knetz are already looking forward to her next acting gig. Despite her being praised, Do you all truly believe that she gained back their trust? I think she somewhat did but ultimately time will tell.

Well according to naver articles, It did pretty well despite it being an indie movie during the pandemic and received praises from knetz and Korean movie critics

They probably weren't, that's kinda how it always is but, I respect Irene for apologizing so many times instead of hiding behind her company

I think if Wendy and Seulgi love her as much as they do that we got a very slanted view of the whole deal.

Personally i would want the entire event aired.

The idea of someone going off non stop for 20 min is so unlikely, that it immediately got discounted as bull @#$.

Now if she did do that .... She is a dang good actor and needs more work cuz she has effectively sold an opposite image for half a decade.

part of why i discount much of the stuff about idols and fake.. they normally are just not that good at acting.

i hope she does, i don't agree with what she did and how there were people who didn't know her speaking over those who did but she has apologised enough not to have this situation brought up everytime her name is mentioned. if this kind of behaviour never repeats i don't see why she should have her whole career ruined over this. it's not like it was some serious crime (ironically there are idols who are literal criminals yet still have supporters somehow but that's for another day).

I agree. People on twitter kept using her name to justify their own faves allegations. ( soojin, mingyu etc.) Like her situation was way different from theirs. like leave her alone, my goodness

What i could believe is that she was pissed about something and was direct. I would have preferred the management to handle that kind of stuff. It is their job to be the bad guy. Far better to just say the work was unacceptable and we will not hire you again.

It's the fact that the stylist said that her managers apologized for her but she wanted an apology from irene herself. She really could have just went to her privately and asked for an apology

Well yea the whole adult posting to sms that my feelings were hurt .... i am old school professional, conflict always happens when ppl care. handle that person to person.

Yeah, I think the stylist more or so shot herself in the foot on this one because who in the hell is going to want to hire her if SM hasn't already blacklisted her

her fansites ( which she has over 200) none of them including the Korean ones never shut down which means it wasn't really that serious. People were calling her a bully but the stylist never even called her a bully and people are just out there throwing around the term loosely.

I wouldn't be surprised if she did. Comparatively her having bad communication skills and blowing up at a person once (I say once b/c as far as I know no one else came out with similar stories) is a pretty normal and understandable problem to have. I can't even count the number of times i've caused misunderstandings with people because of my personality, tone of voice, etc.

She didn't commit any crimes or hurt the person too badly emotionally and apologized so she's more easily forgivable.
