There are a few differences between her case and the recent bullying controversies.

1. It was a case of "bad attitude" and prior to this, she doesn't have any bullying allegations from her school days and general past. Also the stylist accepted her apology.
2. The gp was mad at her but her fans never really abandoned her, compared to say IDLE Soojin who was dropped by one of her fansites or SKZ Hyunjin in who's case JYPE basically said they'll choose trainees more carefully in the future.
3. The timing of her scandal was fortunate since it was before this whole wave of accusations.

I still think the gp doesn't immediately love her again but they won't drop or cancel her. She made it out pretty okay all things considered.

I don’t think we have any real way to judge this unless we know Korean to read the Korean internet widely and speak to actual Korean people.

A movie will do well if it’s good with a great cast and director regardless of that one idol actor.

Also it’s never really the GP supporting most idols, it’s their fandom and people in the industry that see that they have a following and so work with them. The GP doesn’t really care beyond a certain point.

yeah me too, but what if it was really the stylist fault, not trying to blame anyone but I guess we'll never find out. I feel like joy is saying yes irene was wrong but what if joy was somehow involved. Why else would she apologize for being immature

She said throughout her career, so maybe she had a similar incident in her past and didn't want it to come up again. Joy is a lot younger than Irene too so I think the public would be a lot more forgiving. She also came out with this after rumors of her being rude to stylists were coming out and people started harassing her.

i personally no longer have a positive opinion of her (despite her being in my ult gg) but im not going to claim shes a bad person because i dont know her. i may have been an avid stan in the past but im able to separate idols from their image and how they portray themselves. i dont dislike her as a person, nor am i going to go around saying shes horrible and whatnot because that would be really unfair. i mean if one of my outbursts or breakdowns was made public im sure many people wouldnt like me either, this applies for everyone. at the end of the day, i dont support her but i dont dislike her because we don't know what really went down and we most likely never will.

She literally just went in the public eye last month on the 17th, SM already said all 5 will be coming back in that conference they had so....... idk what your on about there were over 200 naver articles with positive reactions ....
