No, but really I do put effort. But in the past I have had assignments at the end of a semester that would really have no impact on my final grade. Like I'd still have an A if I failed the assignment.. My question: If you had a 95 in a class, but had a required assignment would you put in that much effort in the assignment given that passing [the assignment] would not impact your gpa and you could save six extra hours to do what you wished to do with?

I currently don't have this dilemma, but I've always felt like I should put in some effort if only not to make the professor disappointed.

Let's talk about how I legit struggled throughout all years of schooling because my ADHD is a whole ass mess. So I would put in so much effort with my work and still do badly but also still pass. So I don't think I've ever run into this and I feel like it's hardwired now to put in effort for me so I don't think I could do it.

I´m thriving when someone compliments me and I live in fear of disappointing them, so if a professor acknowledged my work and told me I did well, I wouldn´t sleep just to prove that I deserve the praise. However, if it was simply about percentage and a good grade and no sweet words, I would honestly just enjoy my daily doze of sleep.

If I have a 95 in the class and I miss one assignment, prof's gonna pull me aside to see if I had a family emergency or something. Then they'll let me make it up. So I'd rather do it when it's due.
