I don't know what the twilight author was on when she came up with this name it's such a strange name.
I'm also not a fan of normal names but with "fancy" spelling. For instance, Aliviyah, but it's pronounced Olivia or smth.​

Only time I could see naming a child something outside of your own culture is when you are a foreigner who lives in that culture and everyone is going to call your child by the dominant language version of that name. Certain names in Korean and Spanish sound completely different from the your native language version. For instance, I think in Korean Xavier would be pronounced 자비에르 and in Spanish it would be Javier

I don´t like made up names (like when parents put two things together trying to be creative, I don´t mean names like Anna-Maira or Anna-Sophia and so on though, they do sound really old-fashioned to me) and also any names that are objects or food or whatever? naming your child Baby or Pilot or Prince, Princess etc. that´s just meh.

While the name is important and should come from heart, I also feel like some reason should be used while naming your child. Does it go well with their surname? Are they going to be teased for being too weird?

oh, I do hate the boys names on girls like James, Sawyer or Cody.
