idk, i think their issue was that whenever someone searched mr.mr after that search would get flooded by snsd's cb and not their group

i think yg is a guy who think's with his balls and teddy most likely also inherited the culture.
Somi i just have zero interest in as a soloist as a member of ioi it was bearable but she is the reason i didnt stan ioi since i have to like all the girls in the groups i stan.

I dint follow IOI/wasnt into kpop then, is there sth more to it than just not liking Somi? I hv no idea wat somi was like in IOI/sixteen but i like Somi now. Maybe i think she's still finding her way/whether she wants to be a solo idol/artist/singer, or branch out but she just finished high school not long ago; i dont think she has to close off too many paths ahead of her at this point: college grad, actress, variety/host/MC, even newscaster? Maybe last is long shot. Or go to the west n develop. Being in YG Black Label might be not advantageous in the ling run, but i think she chose where she vibed with the ppl the most, so its her choice to go there. I dont think P-Nation or High1r or L1VE were an option for her (for different reasons, being started after she joined YG Black Label, or just different styles; in fact P-Nation might be ur grandpa's (or Ahjuishi)khiphop, Jay might be ur older brother khiphop, Ravi a slightly younger than Jay khiphop/rnb/rap/watever, but YE n Black Label hit tat sweet spot of teens/tweens/youngsters without talking down/looking down on them. Whether u like em or not, n i do like their artists at least BP/Rosé/Jennie n Somi. I think from a 30 second search, Somi might hv issues if she debuted in USA solo, at least if Lady Antebellum/Lady A issue is any indication, unless she does similar as Tiffany rebranded herself as Tiffany Young(which i think is hilarious since i believe she was known as Stephanie Hwang before she started training, LOL). Ennik Somi Douma sound like a US pop star name, anyone?

He's actually a part time actor/minor kinda celebrity from the impression i get. Istm its a win win for the tv show inviting him/Somi/himself when he appeared but he seems to hv cut way down/doesnt get invited much for abt 2 yrs now, last i noticed was on Happy Together, maybe i missed new stuff.
