    Yay, MX to celebrate!!

    Yes, I went to a new gym class with my gym friends this morning, and really liked it! And then went to brunch and played a TTRPG and board games with more friends. :san_heart: They just left, so, like, 9 hours with friends? It's nice to know so many lovely people.

    I can appreciate that!! I feel like I've been too booked lately, and it's nice to have an "I do nothing" day. I'll get that next weekend for the Fourth of July. My dog gets so scared by the fireworks and my neighborhood allows people to start shooting off at flipping 9:00 AM, so I don't like to leave on that day anymore.

    Let's see, for other manga, I don't read a ton of manga, because they tend to be hard to keep up with. In a similar vein to Alice in Borderland, I liked Deadman Wonderland. (I also just generally like an author setting out to tell a story and telling it, rather than "how can I make as much money from this as possible for as long as possible?") I also like World Trigger, but it has long delays between chapters, so it's a little easier to forget about. I used to read Bleach, but TBH, toward the end it was kind of hate reading, because Tite seemed to write himself into a bit of a corner and got a little hand-wavy toward the end.

    In a similar vein, I have been watching the One Piece live action and really liked that! And I've been reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl graphic novel. It's not quite precise to the books, but the art is really nice still.

    There was a spin-off manga the original creator made as a thank you for season 1, called Alice in Border Road, but it doesn't feature any of the characters from the original cast. But of course, TV magic can feature anyone without any explanation really required. :lisalaugh: I haven't seen it get localized, but my understanding is that it was basically about Borderland outside of the city, which could have been really interesting!!

    REALLY??? I'll have to check it out!!! That really would've been a cool part of the show, I always wanted to know more about the 'why' of Borderland since clearly not everything was shown

    We will definitely take your tips!! I do feel myself getting better at it. Like I've learned about piling up pieces so the same shape are all grouped together, which helps in puzzles like the one we had which was various shades of blue. So I had a hard time telling which shade of blue it was with the harsh glare of the overhead lights in the room, but I could easily see "oh, this needs one with a tab on either end" or whatever.

    It ended up being okay, but yeah, not ideal!!

    Luckily, I took Monday off work to adjust after daylight savings time, so I have a nice chill weekend to look forward to. :sanapray:

Our Story
KpopSource began as a small blog called ksource, created by a dedicated K-Pop fan known as @Sourcekeeper. Frustrated by the decline of welcoming, discussion-driven communities, she set out to build something different — a space where fans could talk, connect, and stay for the long term.
