Appreciation drop some of your kpop wishes/wants

never lose hope though. i think a lot of groups are seeing the demand for lesser known places to have concerts at. also i think there's this website called MyMusicTaste and i think you can use it to get musical acts to tour in your area.

oh where do you live if you don't mind me asking? and that's valid. where i live, i think more kpop idols are coming to my state, i remember years ago they wouldn't even come

wish #1: i think it'll be genuinely cool if a kpop group had a definitive taiwanese line even a hong kong line? imagine how big this'll be. kpop has always had foreign idols but i would love to see how a full on taiwanese line or a hong kong line (by hong kong i mean people who are cantonese and...

Rumor my honest take on HYBE

    1. okay, i do agree with you on this, but still, kpop is deeply rooted into korean culture and society. even if the population is getting smaller, it's still important to tour in your home country first before anything. there's still people in korea who love kpop and want to see these groups...

i'm never ever using twitter for discussion. reddit was my go to until i stopped using it because i experienced the same shit on there as i would on twitter and even discord. this place actually has a lot of decent people on here...and decent convos..:i'm kind of surprised

yeah it's a personal take of mine. i'm not the only one who thinks we're not in the 5th gen. it's heavily debated though 😂

yeah. it's okay. i mean this is calmest discussion i have had on here. unlike other places where it's hard to say things like this without getting hated on

Gdragon and CL are naturally good and YG wasn't messing around when he picked them to debut in a group. they're immensely talented. even though i'm not huge on the whole rapping thing, and im not much of a fan of bigbang and 2ne1 even tho i listen to their music, these two are considered...

i do disagree with this a little because kpop had given us some truly great rappers like gdragon and CL. yes you can argue that the 2nd gen birthed some rappers that are arguably better than the ones we have now but yeah. i do see people compliment singing and dancing more often than rapping tho

yeah, the .5 generations are just fan created generations and aren't actually real generations, but it's still good to know about them

it doesn't surprise that girl groups aren't the main ones starting generations. boy groups seem to be the breadwinners here. yeah 3.5 gen is like a confusing generation for some people. it's like the time that kpop became more global which should've started a new generation but at the same time...

    Appreciation Explaining kpop generations

yeah the .5 generations aren't actually real generations. their fan made generations. i just thought it'd be nice to include them since they make up a whole generation entirely.

    Appreciation Explaining kpop generations

i always found kpop to be very interesting with its generations. for those who are new to kpop, kpop operates on generations to signify when new sounds, trends and huge structural changes happen in the kpop scene. 1st generation (1996-1999) is the very first kpop generation. the group that...

Appreciation name a few things you miss about kpop

no i think that was spot on. i think the reason why we're getting this is because we have idols who aren't designed to be rappers, rapping in songs when it isn't their strong suit

omg fast talking 😭 damn bro, not only are most idols live vocals are lacking, but even rapping isn't the same. i guess by this you mean idols lack rhythm flow in their rap verses. as there is obviously more to rapping then just fast talking.

oh, you want those truly dark concepts back, circa vixx? yeah they're the kings of those concepts. no one can pull it off but them. huge companies are too scared to take risks istg i think get what you mean about vocal style. i don't listen to modern kpop, but i will say this: most idols...
