Very fair. I didn't mind paying to see it in theaters, but for the 90/96% on Rotten Tomatoes, I was expecting something more than just "that was fun."

I saw it yesterday after the rave reviews. There are a couple of emotional scenes where Galinda and Elphaba (Ariana and Cynthia's characters) really connect, and the acting is particularly well done in those scenes, so I can see that making someone teary eyed. It felt shorter than I expected...
