I was waiting for someone to say something like this. I hate how idols are marketed as bfs and gfs to their fans. while it may be smart in the beginning to get the idol "closer" with their fans. it just causes a stir of problems in the future when the idol actually wants to be normal and go on...
right? I don't really care about whether or not someone produces or writes, because that's not everyone's forte, but it would be nice if their opinions on what concept or sound they'd like were being heard by the company. its especially heartbreaking when you hear about idols being forced to do...
I made a thread the other day about how much I hate when kpop groups force unnecessary raps in songs that don't need them, and tbh I'm curious as to what everyone's biggest problems or pet peeves with kpop is.
one of mine is when kpop groups constantly lip sync, like every single stage even...
Same whenever I’m reading a book with a story my inner voice kinda sounds like what I think the characters In the book sound like. Same with the characters in FanFiction
Yeah when I read I usually hear myself in my head and tbh my inner head voice has emotions so it’s not monotone. I actually find myself arguing with it, I’ll like simulate certain argumentative situations with my inner voice without realizing lol.
I'm just saying what I've noticed when looking at different performances, I know that there are larger groups who can sing live, probably better than smaller groups. and yeah there are smaller groups who can struggle that's definitely true but I'm just reporting what I've noticed in general.
that's true, there are definitely more filler groups in larger groups that don't really enhance vocals. but I feel like now, music shows are way more used to larger groups then they were when groups with that many members first came on the scene. so they're usually prepared for it now but I...
true but still, even the vocal line in larger groups have a harder time keeping up when singing live. I think kpop companies need to just focus more on stamina as well as being able to improve their trainees' vocals. both are important, you could be an amazing singer but sound terrible when...
its sometimes very hard to tell because music shows and kpop companies put heavy back tracks or theyll pre record vocals. I have a whole thread dedicated to showing the difference between a live performance and a pre recorded one.
Discussion - how to know if your fave is actually singing live?
I've noticed that larger kpop groups with more members tend to lip sync more than smaller groups with fewer members. this has always been confusing because wouldn't it be easier to sing in a larger group because you don't have as many lines? they also tend to perform worse in the vocal...
Yeah in terms of most popular they definitely are not in the top 5 anymore, no offense to the girls but they haven’t had a hit in a long time and they lack in physical and digital sales compared to the girl groups that they’re supposed to be head to head with.
Depends on what those slip ups are. There are a lot of colorist comments that idols make towards one another that I don’t like and they kinda get swept under the rug by fans. I think a lot of fans use this “they’re ignorant they don’t know any better” excuse on everything because they don’t want...
Difference is that they’re most well known for being dream catcher. They gained the majority of their fans under this name. I didn’t even know that they were called MINX before. And also changing your groups name twice is doing to much.
Kpop fans don’t understand how drastic changing the name of an artist could be. That’s their whole brand, what they built up for years just going down the drain. I don’t think that dream catcher should change their name, but I can understand why some fans are upset with certain logos. And maybe...
