.. do you think the world and humanity will get better or worse?

your reply can be about any aspect of it all, but I'm most curious about our hearts and the way we treat each other, nature, animals..... personally, sadly, I don't have much hope left for humans.. I think our hearts are growing more crooked and dirty day by day.. but there's always gonna be kind people, hidden somewhere, too...... <3

also, what are the things that make you get mentally tired most quickly?

for me it's the typical human pettiness and daily malice....it kills me every time tbh.. just makes me want to hide away in my bed forever because I can't deal with it yet I do and will continue to because I have no choice.. life is hard, the world is cruel, this is how it is by nature, so why can't we make it better, try harder, be kinder? we are the only ones with this thing called a "soul", we must use it and live with heart, take responsibility as the "superior" species and take care of each other and everything that surrounds us........

I tire of the fight. Its almost all i can do to follow the straight and narrow let alone help those who seem bound and determined to never try.

I think humanity will get a lot worse but I do think once we get to the point of absolute disaster things will start to get better.

It's mentally draining for me to think about the future. It sucks to think because i'm quite mediocre I'll have a harder time getting into college. Everything seems so difficult, daunting and hopeless when I look ahead. My only hope is that college (once I get in) isn't as bad as the educational hell hole i'm currently in.

The sanctimony and arrogance of humans keep them from progressing. Screaming at others who have different opinions; Narratives being more important than truth; and the inability to change viewpoints because it is inconvenient... I believe Ellen said recently that when she mentioned to be kind to one another that she meant everybody not just those that we like... Which is an inability for a lot of people to do. People are different and until "we" are able to rise above this in-group out-group fighting we will not progress... I will give this context: @DimashVirus and I have different religions. He is Muslim. I am Catholic. We most likely disagree on many things [regarding religious doctrine and the nature of God] given this fact, but he is still the closest friend I have online. Thus, to sum it up I think that humanity will only get better when they get over themselves.

Your second question to what is most mentally draining: For me its dealing with people who want the benefit of forgiveness, but are not willing to change. For instance, an alcoholic who is verbally abusive and will apologize, but the habit of verbal abuse continues and they won't even consider seeking help. Another thing is when people expect me to do things and if I don't do it I'm the a**hole... For instance, there's this family member who just started college and I basically had to do everything for him, from doing the application (fafsa and college app), printing off various documents, having to use my own amazon account to buy textbooks... literally if I didn't do it, it wouldn't get done. And these tasks aren't hard [time consuming maybe].. Both of these are really the same concept: people who refuse to take responsibility for their actions and refuse to change. Oh and people who get mad when I don't pick up my phone, but when I call them they don't pick up there's...😩😩😩😩😩

I definitely think it's getting better, but it also feels like worst of humanity is just morphing to other things than before the malice is there here, the older ways of expressing it aren't just allowed anymore so plp are figuring other ways. Bullying is still here, cancel culture is new thing (nobody can tell me that plp getting cancelled over 10 years old tweets etc. isn't malice), terrorism and around world there is awful violations of human rights I mean new Fifa arena was build by modern slavery.

I guess malice is one thing, not wanting to even entertain thinking someone else's side on sth and jumping on bandwagons.

I don't think humanity will get better. we will all just get better at hiding the worst parts of humanity.

what's getting me mostly mentally tired is waiting around for someone. It's draining to have expectations yet those will never get fullfilled anyway so it is pointless.
