2NE1 SHORT DISCUSSION: IS CL'S CONTRACT ENDING ON MAY 5TH?

So I was looking at a old article about Minzy's departure from 2016 and found some interesting information. Basically Minzy didn't renew her contract in time (I assume March since it was announced on April 4/5th)) and the contract expired on May 5th.
K-Pop Group 2NE1 Becomes Trio Following Departure of Minzy

We see CL being unusually happy and active on social media and her associates posting leaks or praises since late March.

Also 2NE1 debuted on May 17th, Dara/CL renewed their second contracts assumingly in March 2016 and more importantly CL's Vogue photoshoot is coming out in May.

So do you think we have a rough date? ​

Yeah, I think CL's contract expires at the beginning of May and she's definitely up to something. Who knows, maybe she'll surprise us with her album. *fingers crossed*

I'm really hopeful this year for something OT4 related honestly. This is the strongest gut feeling I felt in years. I'm almost certain something is gonna happen. I hope we won't get jinxed.
