A Personal Map (To Belong or Not) (1 Viewer)

[dark_tranquility]

when the choir ends, I feel isolation
when the hour ends, I feel interrogation
To belong is what we all want
sometimes we don't get there
sometimes we do

I'll return to you as soon as possible
my life was a mistake, without you in it
without you to embrace and let out that endless passion
invasion of the senses, our privacy is long gone
not one to hold a grudge
not one to be the martyr of a situation
when the choir ends I feel isolation
when the hour ends I feel interrogation
listen close
when I was younger the wind was my friend
its touch irreversible on my resolve
too involved in my own life, to care about anyone else's
besides yours
besides yours
love never lasts
heart shattered like glass
to keep a straight face when a promise is broken
trying to mend the hourglass of my own past
masking the pain is hard
masking my identify harder
I left behind so many things
so many wings torn asunder
the clouds are listening
to all that is buried within the castle
to cast out evil is my endless ambition
on a mission to end the curse I possess
forever restless, as I submit to my maker

You captured this struggle so well <3 I really felt the inner-turmoil and twisting thoughts here. I hope you've found your tribe ^^

I did and though I may not come out officially as indigenous. (You get benefits here if you do)
I still class myself as aboriginal in that sense.

That's good c: I meant group more in general, but that is still a good point. Hehe. It's great having that connection to your heritage ^^

Group in general would be a lot of things for me.
Just people that share music, I think I would say to that. <3

[dark_tranquility]

Yeah, it's awesome when people share your music-tastes ^^

Diversity is the spice of life after all.

🧡🧡 I share your music taste, don’t I?
