rap heavy gc like a nct there will be no chance. The reason i like sm gg groups they are vocal and harmony based.

I think SM could make a girl crush group that is vocal and harmony based. The formation and musicality of the girl crush concept is being expanded and redefined during the 4th gen. I could honestly do with no rappers. For me I would want a group that incorporates pop r&b elements rather then hip hop. So groups like Destiny's Child, Xscape etc etc, or looking at Taeyeon/SNSD more tough edgy and powerful releases.

I usually pay attention to the larger companies' trainees and when they're gonna debut new rookies but I think this is the longest I've ever waited for a group to debut!

me mostly but in general too. I really really do not think SM has any clue how to sell pure gc (even of the type you mentioned in the other response like Dc ect)come back after comeback.
They can dabble in R and B for several groups snsd fx rv taeyeon tts , swing, Caribbean , jazz have all played with those styles.

and lets be honest those are almost all the lest successful songs from those groups in korea.

And if RV is not written off they just spent years transitioning them to that general area in the velvet sides.

I don't think its going to be pure gc at all, since no one is really doing that besides maybe BlackPink and Everglow. At least I don't think they play with the musical & conceptual formula as much as other groups.

Anyway judging by the teasers I said gc because it seems there going for something similar to EXO or SuperM or maybe even BoA concepts like Hello Venus, Copy&Paste etc etc. Something spacey, highly conceptual, and cinematic. Don't know what else to call it really besides gc or its at least a less bright vibe then their other girl groups. Wouldn't mind if they take from BoA's playbook but more modern and youthful.

There's only like a week until November so the teasers will start being released soon. Let's hope SM doesn't pull a Red Velvet and released the teasers a week in advance. Hopefully they'll actually go full out with the debut teasers.

After this long of a wait and with all of the easter eggs they've been putting into their other artists MVs, I feel like this is gonna be super big and cinematic!

It'll be interesting to see how this new gg differs from SM's other ones. They put so much effort into their male artists, they better do the same for their female ones as well.
