AKB48 fans who complain about SakuNakoHii being in IZ*ONE (1 Viewer)

Like I understand missing the girls in the 48 group but....

An argument they ALWAYS pull is that the kpop fans won't follow them back into jpop... but... did THEY follow the girls into kpop?
how TF can they act so damn preachy when they themselves don't love the girls enough to keep an eye on them or follow them in kpop.

Actually, many Kpop fans follow their favs releases in Japanese. In my case, 2ne1 didn't have a big discography in JP but I listened to everything they released, as well as with RV and a lot SNSD fans swear their Japanese discography is even better than the Korean one.
Just looking for reasons to complain...

Well i have REALLY looked into aks and HKT the past few weeks .
Bought HKT full album 92.
When they preform the songs it is fun.
for example if the HKT kids did Melon Juice instead of that train wreck song for the pd 48 audition it would have come off at least as good as NMB's.
Some of the ballads are fun that i have seen in the member graduations.

But wow listening to that full album or watching a full theater show......... It is very hard to do.

As to following them back to japan .. What is the point ? Hiichan is team 8 aka kids who show up super rarely.
It looks like SSK is gone for yet another year or 2, so even if her popularity jumped almost no way to judge that.
The AKS model of jam packed performance based meet your girl kind of stuff is dead with the panic.
AKS is a train wreck they fired the last center who was 17 (kid broke the rules)

Let alone getting subbed youtube content out of Japan is like non existent.

And I don't think the song choice was the mistake in the performane at PD48, they were all performing like they were about to get executed, not actually y'know.... getting ppl to have fun.

the 48 groups have fallen very low from very high.... There are still some gems in the group ofc like Okada Nana and Yuiri (my babes) but overall the quality of the performances etc... everything has stagnated. The new girls are expected to perform exactly like the old girls, they are expected to smile like the old girls, give off the same vibes like the old girls.

Only it doesn't WORK, bcs the old girls were good bcs they were themselves and giving off their OWN energy and it was powerful. The new girls are being made to emulate the old energy and vibes and it doesn't work like that.

Agreed the difference in performance of like say Mayu, Minami's grad theater shows is night and day.
Yuko shaking hands with each kid. She had age, experience and energy dare i say like Victoria.
Mayu is stupid pretty like a generational one of a kind.
Tomomi always gave me stylish Jessica vibes.
Sasshi is that down to earth kid who can work the system kinda a born leader producer. (i still kinda think they faked that scandal to give her HKT as a playground)

It's tough.... with Techi leaving. They had pushed EVERYTHING to Techi.
Keyaki was often very saltily but not falsely called Techizaka46 or Techi and Friends....

Techi was the only member known by the GP...
She was also the most popular member by FAR.

She was the center of EVERY single one of their singles....

Techi was the perfect center and Keyakizaka46 embodied, so moving on from her is going to be tough.
