Did you ever have to get up before sunrise to make it on time?

For me yeah, in wintertime it still wouldn’t be up when I walked to meet the bus. It would start rising a bit before we made it to school. I didn’t enjoy that

Yep But now I have evening classes in college

Nope. Besides one school I always lived a block or two from the school so I just got to walk once it got close to the first class. And even with the one school it was only about an 8 minute or so bus ride.

Lucky. I lived about half an hour away from my high school, and for some reason our bus got to the school 30 minutes minimum before classes, unlike others who got there 10-15 minutes before and had a bus drive that was shorter. Like one girl who lived closer was complaining about having to wake up at 6:30, which is slightly later than my bus came usually

The thing i hated the most. Knowing everyone else is still sleeping, going against my body, fighting the insticts of self preservation through a well deserved nap. But i persevered, i fight my way through crowds and bodies of students all marching for those seats next to the window on the bus, i placed a bag next to me for my friend who won our game of "who needs to save seats for next week" and gave myself away to the warm embrace of a 10 minute nap until the bust arrived to the school.

and for me, yes! In the winter, it would still be dark when I GOT to school, not just when I woke up. School started at seven, so I always had to be up before five.

I still have classes and all that but in 6th grade when I moved earliest I would have to get up was 6 to go to my old middle school before the new school year started and I’d go to the one close by (school started at 8:05)

Nope because class started at 8:30 AM when I was in high school. I usually got at around 7 AM to get ready before waiting for the school bus outside (like at around 7:50 - 8:00 AM). I got to school like 8:15 AM.

University on the other hand, I woke up at 6 AM to get ready by 7:00 AM to take a 15 minute bus ride and waste 1 hour at the library before my 8 AM class (I hated this, btw).

3:05 PM but I used to take the school bus back home, so it is like 2:50 PM for me and those also took the school bus (to avoid the huge crowds once class officially ends).
