On this day, 30 years ago, the recently let-go guardian angel of Mariah Carey incarnated on the earth into a Jessica Jung. Legend has it she came out of the womb wasting designer sunglasses.

By chance, she was scouted into SME and after seven years of hard work and sheer determination, debuted in one of the biggest girl groups of all time.

Eventually, that chapter came to end and new one began

For so many people, Jessica has been an influence and inspiration for so many people. Despite all the animosity she's received, Jessica has preserved through and only focused on the positives instead of being jaded.

This is greatly reflected in deeply-personal messages conveyed in her music. Regardless of the hurt, we can only go forward.
