I don’t really understand how the card stuff works, and how do I get them, and for what?

Each day there is a daily quest which you can obtain two cards. The first one is when you make 15 posts any where on the forum. The second is when you make two threads + the card challenge OR three threads with one being in the Korean, Japan, China or Thai sections (excluding anime). Every two weeks there is a free card day. On opposite weeks there is a roulette and the rules of the roulette is the OP. To put it very simply, you enter 5 cards and you get back five different cards. And finally the last way to obtain cards is through the raffle. It costs 50 points to enter. And you can have up to five entries.

The OP may look a little overwhelming at first but when you request cards just do it in this format.

I don’t really understand how the card stuff works, and how do I get them, and for what?

There are two daily quests which you can do to get cards.

one is daily posts. It’s at least 15 posts in a day (profile posts and comments count too but posts in the game section don’t count)

two is daily threads. There are 2 ways to complete this. Way one is creating at least 3 threads (again games section doesn’t count) with at least one about Asian entertainment (minus anime) in the corresponding section
The other way is 2 threads anywhere minus the games section, and doing the card challenge for that day. It’s a pinned thread and you would answer the prompt in it.

each day is counted in kst. If your timezone is correct, then the Korean day starts the previous day 6 pm for you and goes till 5:59. For example the 9th kst (today) would be 6 pm 8th to 5:59 pm 9th for you.

you can also get a new user booster pack as a user with an account under a month old. This Will give you 15 random common cards just like that. The requirements are to make an intro thread, make at least one appreciation thread (with the appreciation tag) and complete the requirements for both daily quests the kst day you’re requesting

the types of cards are:

-common: teasers or photoshoots
-rares: selfies. Not all sets have rares
-limited: matching a certain theme, like valentines, Halloween, April fools. Some limited sets aren’t idol sets such as Christmas and chuseok.
-legendary: gif cards. Can only be won thru raffles and only sets with rares are eligible. You enter with points

for dailies you have a 69% chance of pulling a common, a 30% chance of pulling a rare, and a 1% chance of pulling a limited.

we also have limited card events during the time which the theme is centered, in which you are guaranteed a limited of that theme for your daily. These usually last a week.

there are different common and rare decks for cards (and there is also superhero, anime/vg, and international besides Korean) and you can check which has what and put the common and rare deck you want ur cards to be given from when you request

you are also guaranteed a rare by doing at least one daily quest for at least 6 out of the 7 days of a kst week (Sunday kst to Saturday kst). You request this card as your weekly quest

lastly you can trade with other people for cards they have and you don’t

there are also rerolls and roulettes but that’s not important for now

You can look at your posts and count them, thats the way I do it. Just click the number across from messages like this:

For the daily threads you need to post at least 2 threads as well as either a 3rd thread in the Korea/Japan section or you can post in the daily challenge instead

For daily posts you just need to post 15 times and you get it and that's how you get both quests

Read the OP, n follow the format(s) to request:(1) daily post cards; (2) daily thread cards; (3) free card day <every 2 weeks> which u n i just missed; (4) weekly rare card <if u do a daily task for 6/7 days per ks card week~im also quite confused tho i posted the weekly rare {unofficial thread}> i think if u do a daily quest every day for next 6[including today] days u will be able to claim a weekly rare |but i dont guarantee it-im not staff or card team|~

U might not be able to get all answered here, explore the request thread to see (a) how enticing cards are & (b) how fast u will get addicted to collecting cards.LOL

You get a card for each of them and if you complete 6 of either dailies for 6 different days in a week with the week starting on Sunday KST you can request a Rare card as a weekly
