The problem with that is new users would be at a disadvantage, since they may not be able to get cards they want because past users would have taken them all already.

i am not sure though. Say someone new wants izone those with 10 cards will surely be parked at traders like yachii or bg with me ect.
In fact they could make significant progress to a collection easier.
Like say Soogi who has a small number of cards but they are all 17.

I’m not sure I’m following, you’re saying that each individual card should only have 10 copies or each person should only have 10 cards?

each card say soft capped at 10 (just a guess ) most groups/soloist do not have 5 collectors and the extras will either clog the system or lubricate it if more folks do like Yachii but only to a point.

Now a last traded or say full set flags would be handy but that may be a bunch of work. that could give yall an idea of when a card becomes 'dead'

We do have the time it was traded already too....

Like today with that 9th Nako card that ended up with me. I'm very lucky Yachii does what he does otherwise it would have been stuck with me.

Imagine a few weeks from now at a possibility of 15 Nako's out there, which could happen!! No point in having that many Nako's, right?


Softcaps on cards will obviously be monitored and perhaps with my card thread it will keep Cards Team informed of how many people are looking for the sets. Sure, not everyone who are collecting cards have been asked to be put in the thread, but I still don't see more than 10 people collecting a single set as of right now.

I'll do my part and ask more card collectors what cards they want so I can build up more of a list for everyone to see. If it looks like more people want a certain set/card, then lift the softcap. I could even list the softcapped cards in my thread. Then any new card collector or new user that wants one knows they could quite easily find a trade for it. If not, then they can ask to lift the softcap and join us in hoping the pull it when they complete a task or someone else pulls it for them, thus they can trade.

Thing is, now there are so many cards it could take such a long time for people to complete their sets now. And for example, if Nako's keep getting pulled, wouldn't that be more frustrating for people as it's worthless?

I hope you consider the softcap. Even if it needs a vote thread with an explanation of why you might want to introduce it. I think most people will agree with the softcap lol.

Changing frequency/% and tweaking caps destroys the trading aspect, also the free card without trade-imo(i mean the free card without trade is inhibiting free trading now). Im gonna make a thread l8r n detail my objections. But its already inhibiting trades and locking certain cards now. Read my thread for the shocking details l8r. News at Eleven (hey tats quite appropriate.)

Objections are more than welcome. That's why maybe a vote or something on this might be a good idea.

I just don't want to wait a year for completing my sets by waiting for a card that just won't release enough for me to be able to get my hands on due to no softcaps on cards...

Meanwhile there are like 30 Nako's or 20 Moonbins etc. Imagine that, just for a moment and really ask if that's something that should happen. It's a possibility for sure and it is of no worth to anyone playing the card game. Right?!


Free cards I think is becoming less of a thing though @uwuWinter. Although giving a card to someone in return of something later might become more of a thing. Thus, the card isn't given for "free". It's just people just can't stop being kind and why wait?

if a user of those 10 enters 2, there are 11 and he will get 2 random ones again and so on, but i think the max amount of card u can put in shouldnt be over 5

Edit: I forgot I sometimes have work throughout the weekend so i wouldnt be able to do it on those days
