If you are married or in a serious relationship with someone and for some reason that someone lapses into a coma, how long should one consider staying "faithful"... Should one remain in that relationship after 10+ years even though the comatose individual isn't likely to wake up? Also if the person wakes up, does he or she have a right to be angry if, after five years, their significant other has moved on to another relationship?

On average it seems comas usually only last a couple of months so in a scenario where it has been years then you're not dealing with a when they wake up you're dealing with a if they wake up and I think it's fine for the other person to move on however even then it's understandable that the person who was in the coma would be hurt since they did get cheated on regardless but you have to think about the other point of them being practically dead which in that scenario they wouldn't have cared if their partner met someone else.
