Very interesting insights from Way of Crayon Pop.
Yes, the thing that surprised me the most from this interview was the fact that the company takes so much of their earnings and the debt thing. This sounds pretty consistent with what I've heard from other former idols, the only thing new is the trainee debt. It's not often you here ex-idols talking about that
Trainee debt is so viscousYes, the thing that surprised me the most from this interview was the fact that the company takes so much of their earnings and the debt thing.
It really brings you to the reality of how much these idols sacrifice and how hard they work to entertain us and in most cases that really have much to show for it if you don't make it.
The bigger companies like SM do not have debt at all for the trainees. In fact the company buys stuff like apparel, living expenses if from out of city or country ect for them.Yes, the thing that surprised me the most from this interview was the fact that the company takes so much of their earnings and the debt thing.

Momoland still isn't being paid, it took Girl's Day about 4 years to pay off theirs
If the company is really small, dorms, living expenses and practice areas may not be a factorTaking out bank loans was a new detail i had not heard of
