(G)I-DLE Soojin’s school bullying… Agency “We are currently checking the facts”

Alleged victim A, who claimed that their younger sibling attended the same middle school as Soojin, revealed online that it was “time to release (G)I-DLE Soojin’s bullying”.

They stated that “all the people in the world needed to know” and that they are “sorry to all the other members of the group besides one person”, but they couldn’t ignore the pain their sibling received anymore.

After seeing this comment, (G)I-DLE fans demanded detailed disclosure on the situation. The alleged victim responded, “The school violence related to Soojin is not misleading and I am the witness and the evidence. My anger won’t wash away when I think about the people that don’t know what Soojin did during school”.


The alleged victim also posted an Instagram story with a photo who is believed to be the sibling who received the bullying. According to their claims, Soojin usually stole other people’s school uniforms and stole their money. They also claimed that she went around with older guys who rode motorcycles while drinking and smoking.

This is not the first time Soojin has been swept up in bullying rumors. One netizen previously posted a photo of Soojin’s middle school yearbook album photo and revealed, “Soojin smelled of cigarettes every day and would go around with older guys and drink alcohol. She would say she was dizzy from drinking and her attitude and behavior in disregarding people was a big shock to me.” They also stated that she would curse at her friends and would not return items after borrowing them. This post has since been deleted.

Regarding Soojin’s bullying accusations, CUBE Entertainment has stated, “We are aware of the controversy and currently checking the facts.” cr

Bullying accusations seem to be popping up a lot although idols usually start training at a young age so I suppose it's possible the idea they're going to be famous goes straight to their heads and they start acting like a jerk.

If it's true Soojin will need to address this herself as hiding behind Cube won't save her character but if she can at least give fans hope she regrets her actions and is not that person anymore she might be able to salvage something in this scenario.

But I feel like these stories are way to common and often come at times when said person is rising. Like Karina right before debut, Jennie as a rising it girl and now Soojin after she scores her first brand endorsement. It could be true or it could be sabotage like what happened to Tablo.

Why would SM plant such a story tho? All it would do is forever dog Karina tat she was a bully n accusations of cover up by SM to pay off the accuser nvr disproven cos if its false, the accuser can just disappear gleeful at the damage caused.
Like im still unsure which is true in Jennie's situation, was she falsely accused or not? The accuser thot it was credible to accuse Jennie being a school bully, n unless hollywood fooled me about teenage girl bullies in tv n the movies, i woulda believed it more likely tat Jennie fit the mould of victim - South Korean girl who was learning English, in a faraway place from her home n shy besides, unless she pretended all along n was rlly Regina(i hvnt watched Mean Girls but only know abt it from some memes n stuff , oh glee the tv show n Gossip Girl) or Blair or a female Chuck.

It just seems to me if it was SM or an intern or execetive without oversight from upper management or even with approval from the CEO, the likelihood of it backfiring if it was found out tat SM manipulated the situation would be too high. Giselle now winter dint get this much marketing help predebut, did they?
I only casually followed the yoo jimin bullying accusations n tend to believe it more likely it was a disgruntled exo-l (or maybe was even her classmate/close friend/fellow trainee) who was unhappy to see her n kai in a cf together or watever they were in.

I would disagree, she was the only public non srg trainee and had one of this biggest followings of smngg
Aeri was hidden for months and Minjeong for years, Helen was only made public because SL Studio, there are a couple other girls where you had to actually dig for info to find about them
Also, all the hate from bgs stemmed from misinformation from akp and kboo, I don’t think sm ever would’ve anticipated that or the traction it would’ve gotten I don’t think anyone thought that it would all snowball into accusations that she bullied a trainee into a suicide attempt
The types of info in the stuff is really tame as far as leaks go, and don’t really prove that it had to be from sm themselves—us srgnators here on kps knew the MV concept, some of the styling, and even some of the sets weeks before any announcements regarding their debut and we’re not even in the kkt circles where actually kfan info gets shared. oomf got sent karina’s stage name (same spelling and all) when she jokingly asked for it mid august lol
