HAVE YOU EVER DEALT WITH CYBER BULLIES? HOW DID IT END? HOW DID YOU HANDLE THEM?
WHY DO YOU THINK IT HAPPENS SO OFTEN AND WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THIS BIG ISSUE ALL AROUND THE WORLD?

i personally ''blame'' social media for it to become such a big problem for the entire planet
it enabled people to act like psychos way too easily and hurt/harm people way to quickly

that being said, of course it happend on forums 15 years ago a lot too
but i think ever since FB gotten so big, things just went south like a faker

why do people do this , seriously
does this just mean there are simply too many crazy ones out there?
too many people walking around with anti social personaltiy disorder or something?
or do you think this is all based on bad parenting?
why are parents not raising their children with manners and teaching them to respect others?

i never did it, i just remember i was an annoying girl sometimes back in the day on a mmorpg i played
but i never bullied anyone , there is a clear difference between being annoying from time to time and actual bullying
and the reason i acted that way i guess was due to the fact i was annoyed and sad with my real life
not being able to finish high school because i was getting bullied FOR REAL at school all day every day​

Never dealt with them myself however they wouldn't bother me as I can argue and pick apart arguments but it happens the same reason as bullying although with the added thing that people believe they are safe on the internet and won't have any repercussions for it even if that's not true

I've never done it, but I did have to shut some people down because they were bullying my friends and I went off on them so that put and end to that. I don't think it's really the internet's fault. It's the people that use it and how they choose to use it.

I usually don't get involved in conflicts online unless I am 100% sure I'm not misinterpreting something and do not tolerate whatever is going on

I’ve never dealt with cyberbullies but then again I was never really into social media to begin with other than Piczo. I do think it’s the parents to blame allowing them to access technology and the internet at an early age can contribute to bad behavior due to negative influences that they are exposed to 24/7.

I don’t know if it counts as “cyber bullying”but one time I made a comment that upset pretty much the entirety of a certain fandom on Twitter 😂. I turned off the notifications and then just deleted that account. But I learned to be way less argumentative online (it’s SOOO stupid and toxic) and to divest from stan Twitter besides lurking and only following official fan account. I was only on stan Twitter because I was bored tbh. I’m much less involved in online fandom after that period.

Yes I've been cyberbullied. Got a bunch of anonymous messages telling me I sucked, I was the scum of the Earth, that I should kill myself or die. Admittedly I sort of deserved it.

I've personally never been cyberbullied or cyberbullied anyone, but when you're on the internet, it's not uncommon to see communities cyberbullying public figures to get what they want.

I've never been cyberbullied or done so myself (though I joke about bullying elected officials lmao). I think part of the problem in terms of people under 18 getting bullied online is that there's not enough adult supervisor from the bullies parents. There's a lack of responsibility on the internet and that really emboldens people and brings out their worst and for some teenagers being a teenager already brings out the worst in them so the internet makes it much worse lol.

There's also the weird subset of adults and teens that want to be violent towards children...like they will say they are joking but will comment some pretty horrible stuff on videos of children mildly misbehaving.

I've never been in such a situation luckily but cyberbullying is certainly a big issue especially nowadays with all of the social networks available. And it's really hard to do something against this issue because malicious people can just hide behind their anonymity online.

Well.. There was this one time where I was talking to this guy on YT [via comments] and he got so worked up about his politics. He started using buzz words like "gay agenda" and "your community"... and it ended with him saying

"LGBT should be put behind an electric fence." and some stuff about how "The Nazi' in Germany were gays"... Is ironic because there are history books and even autobiographic memoirs about how gays were placed into forced labor camps.

depends on the country and laws i think though
my country is known to be too soft when it comes to doing things that just are not right
like go and do something fkin bad here and you will maybe get few years in jail , get out way too early cause of ''fake'' good behaviour
though whilst doing same shit in USA and you get WAY MANY MORE years in jail AS THEY SHOULD GET
but here, real bad people, even cyberbullies fall under that category in my opinion, bad people walk free around in the streets way too quickly again
....whether it was murder or rape or massive drugs shit etc
i dislike my country for being too soft honestly

i don't experience that a lot myself
as i met too many people in my past who at the end of the day, made it seem they cared for me but then when things got tough they bailed
i love people for being true and passionate for a friend

and yes, people abuse the internet
they been doing that probably since day 1 it got out there in the world lol

its because parents often get kids but then later on realise they dont have the time for them and cant be arsed to even put in effort when it comes down to parenting their kids a good way because they barely have time to get sexy times together so why not put the 3 year old on an ipad 24/7? right?
i know this for a fact as i sold so many tablets to parents that told me they were buying it for their very very very young kids to keep them occupied
