Do you eat the tops of your strawberries? (1 Viewer)

i get not wanting to eat the leaves, but i never understood why people cut off half their strawberries just to get rid of the tops when you can just pull them off instead and not waste any of the actual fruit, it's v wasteful imo

personally i do like them and they're quite nutritious too so i just pop the whole strawberry into my mouth, leaves and everything. what about you guys?

i thought the same thing so i learned a trick so i can only get the stem and leaves out bc i used to waste the whole top of a strawberry but now i dont.

Just get a knife and carve out the stem.. But don't be fooled. When eating celery, save the leaves. There's a lot of flavor there.

Yeaaa that's so true.. Sometimes I add some sugar to 'em aswell as they are often quite flavorless.
