Do you ever have to deal with your name being misspelled or mispronounced? (1 Viewer)

I do. It’s not spelled the standard way, so that can cause people to spell it wrong. Also Ive noticed that most people who’s names start with V tend to have people who keep forgetting your actual name and calling you any other name starting with V on accident. Kind of like if someone who’s name was Jill got called Jessica, Jennie, Joan, Jann, ect on a regular basis.

To be fair, English spelling is atrocious. A ghost A would be pretty par for the course

Although it's still mispronounced sometimes.

To teh point that we just tell ppl its this word with a letter in front p.

I also have an Indian name, not legally.
The elders on my dad's side are the only ones who use it and they spell it wrong on gift money.
They use a spelling I absolutely loathe!!! But hey, free money o.o

try misheard. lol I have a facial palsy on my left side along with a high palate (almost a cleft, but not), making it hard to enunciate clearly, so I've gotten my name misheard countle4ss times. lol one time at Starbucks, they mislabeled my coffee with Chelsey instead of my real name. lol

my name is simply spelled Rachel but for some reason it keeps getting spelled as Rachelle or Rachael its really annoying
