Do you have kpop fans friends irl? They are kpop fans because of you? Do you stan the same groups?

I do. I met some of my best friends because of kpop but I also met some people in college and found out later that they are kpop fans. For example I met my best friend before the first class in college, but we talked about kpop like... 1 year and a half later. She wasn't a fan, but she is very very open mind and already knew about kpop, we even talked about the industry and all. A bit later she started to stan BTS, but it was mostly by herself, not because of me, I only helped her with videos to learn the members. At work I also have 2 kpop stans (one of them is a baby ARMY but still). Indeed my kpop fans friends are in general ARMY, but most of them stan other groups as well

I had one, but she became really toxic (not because of KPOP), and she still tries to contact me sometimes. I also have a best friend that I've known since I was 2 that moved to Canada in 2015, and we coincidentally started getting into KPOP in 2017. So, not really.

One of my current best friends. We met because of BTS I had to present my project in front of 6 other students (I'm from graphic, they were illustration students) and I wore a black sweater with the BTS logo. After the presentation she came to me and we talked about BTS. She just started listening to kpop back then. We're still very close friends. I recommended her a LOT and we went to the Monsta X concert together (+2 of her friends, also kpop fans).

And a girl from Ukraine from my school (she's in fine arts), we went to the BTS concert together last year. I don't talk a lot with her, but I know she was a huge fan of Big Bang (G-Dragon in particular)

Yup and the two i really thought I could call friends turned out to be back stabbing btches. And i don't use that insult easily. The other fans I tried to talk with but very clickish worse then HS.

Well that's still something. My bestfriend was a BTS stan as well at first, now she kinda likes more groups. Good thing we mostly like the same groups

Oh everyone and their mom knows I'm way into kpop. They question me a little and tease like good friends do, but nothing malicious.

I don't care either way. They're gonna listen to it when I'm driving whether they like it or not
