it depends on the song. Some/most english versions can sound really cool like Monsta X's shoot out

I admit that I prefer the Korean version of ATEEZ's Take Me Home rather than the English one....

When agencies have so many resources available and we still get tacky and nonsensical lyrics like "close your lips shut your tongue." then I really don't want English versions. If I want to listen to english boy groups [and I do] I will listen to why don't we or B2B or 1D, or The Wanted or NKOTB if all else fails... Never NSYNC.

edit: *side note* if a solo or group I like is having a comeback with an english song/album and I know their english isn't that good I will skip that comeback.

i kind of prefer if English songs from Kpop artists are original and don't have Korean versions.

I'm fine with it since the labels plans are to reach a wider audience beyond Korea.

As far as preference, I enjoy the Korean versions more since they're the ones that usually get released first.

Strangely enough, when the English version of aespa's Life's Too Short was released as the title track and found out there's a Korean version in the album, I was favoring the English version more.

So, I suppose I favor depending on which version dropped first.
