not really since down under we are a lot more multicultural than the US and even though there is always racism and stereotyping based on race - I think for the most part there isn't as much systemic issues nowadays

I can speak for the US but obviously there is a much much larger population over there than here but it's pretty multicultural (in the urban areas)
