Exactly how do you get into fan signs? (1 Viewer)

I am toying with going to Korea again.
Groups are having comebacks and if possible i would like to meet them at fan signs.
I know it is some sort of lottery deal where buying albums gives ya a shot
where do ya have to buy them?
how do they communicate the winner ect.
Music shows i know may almost be a non starter since i am not a member of the Korean fan clubs.
Any info would be appreciated.

By buying ridiculous amount of albums. I can't speak for girl groups but I know that for W1 fansignings there was a lottery and most people ended up buying 200 albums or more. I wish I was kidding. Of course you could buy one and get in.. but that chance is very low. The bigger and more well known the group is, the harder it is to get into fansigning. :/

You're right, it was very popular Daniel's fan site too, I believe. At least I remember her mentioning it on Twitter. :l

There were fansites that made it into almost every single fansigning.. the mystery is still where they get their money from, lol.

If you still want to go to a music show then M Countdown is your best option and there's various ways that you can go about it.

Even if you aren't a fanclub member they'll still admit you in. But you'll have to queue up for a very long time (and make sure that you have your passport, physical copy of the album and digital purchase as well). And when I say I long time I mean it. I was in Korea when Twice came back with What Is Love? And even when we got to the studio there was already a long queue even though it was the very early hours.

I knew a Music show would blow the bulk of a day and entail getting there like 4-5 am.
I went to the mcountdown station. 17 was there so many 17 fans.

Yep M Countdown would take the bulk of a day... But imo it is worthwhile because you won't get many opportunities to see one of your favourite groups. Especially in a close up and intimate way as you can at a music show.

The Cultour package is still a thing. May's package went on sale towards the end of April. So June's package should go on sale within the next week or so.
