I think Luna ofc and Amber are the real problem match up wise. Unless you want the skills of a Victoria.
Wendy is close to Luna maybe but Yeri Irene as Amber.... i think i would go Yeri(plus her name kinda works better in the Am Ber call)

I think fromis did Red Light justice when they performed it.

I generally do think it‘s difficult to cover f(x) cause they really have that special vibe. I think even Red Velvet doesn’t have that typical f(x) energy

fromis does have a English speaking rapper too so that helps.
Jiwon is a ways from Luna but.

Fx is weird among sm groups with really only 1 good or better vocal. They still have the harmony thing and folks love Krystal's tone but she is easily the least skilled of the sm vocal line. In any other sm group she would be a vocal/sub.
That is what makes it hard, Luna is just soo good that to even come close to her notes in like say Chu , Jet , danger ect you have to be really good.

Let alone the vibe issues you bring up.

i still wonder how good Seulgi was at the time, and if Seulgi for Suili might have worked out better for em in the long run.(course RV would be screwed up then and she is not the guy stan atractor Suili was) And Fx was kinda for Krystal/Victoria. Just let Suili continue acting in that scenario..
