Now I feel like a weirdo for being excited for a group made of half robots lol but I am still looking forward to this. Originally I thought it was CRAZY (and it still is honestly) but it's a fresh, new idea and they're literally just an optimised version of X-EXO so I'm pumped. Also apparently they won't actually promote together together but will be doing different activities with different songs(??).

And for some analytics, Karina is trending WW with over 400k mentions, and Aespa is trending #1 on Weibo with over 1.9M mentions (a few hours ago).

Also Karina looks EXPENSIVE. That confidence is not something I would have expected to see from a rookie but she is killing the confidence game. Also NingNing has grown so BEAUTIFUL! I remember when she was a BABY.

On the bright side, apparently they won't actually be promoting together but separately like 2 separate sub-units so you can just ignore the AI versions.

I mean, even if I'm a fan of K/DA, this concept might be a bit too much. At least with K/DA we know where we stand and it's straight forward.

As long as SM don't take it too far it might be okay. For example, I hope 99% of interviews are just the real members, and they don't talk much about their virtual members as if they are tangible etc. And hopefully most of the MV screen time is given to the real members and not half-split with the virtual/CGI ones.

Apparently this group will "grow" with more members being added to the group eventually. If they have a convoluted system like NCT or any kind of graduation system then I won't stan at all. I stan groups for their music + members. I'd only be a casual listener if members change. Also if the virtual members are really prominent part, then I'll stay a casual listener, not a stan.

I missed the part about them adding members like NCT... I stan NCT so I'm not sure if I can say 100% that I won't stan these girls if it does end up being a concept like that, but I REALLY hope they just end up being a fixed member group.

I guess we will find out where exactly SM is going with this in a few days anyway. They're really into experimental stuff but having AI members + making them rotational is too much. It took people 4 years to accept NCT and they're still rising VERY slowly but I doubt people would have the same interest and patience with a girl group. I just hope they don't turn this into a mess. I'm really looking forward to them.

So they decided to go with the kids cartoon show concept after all.

I mean technically SM didn't confirm that it was only 4 members, they just introduced 4 members in that video. So there's a chance there may be more (some people are thinking 7) but we'll see. Unless they do something like RV and hide a member like they did Joy until debut, I personally think it's unlikely that there will be more than 4 girls.

Ohhh the 3 subunits of 4 members would make sense. There have been rumours of SM doing something like that since RV's pre-debut days. Like a female version of EXO since RV didn't end up being the female EXO with the subunits everyone expected. It would be so interesting if this really ends up being that group!

Also they're similar to BP just because they have 4 members?
