fun fact: the song was released in japan (where it's knows as meri kuri) and in korea (where it's know as merry-chri) on the same day but it proved to be a bigger hit in japan, to the point where it begins to climb the japanese charts every december. boa's japan defrosting for 2024 has already begun, btw
