Help Finding Songs That Sound Like SHINEE The Reason

Despite being in kpop for a long time. (2007)

I'm still largely a mere shallow explorer of boy group libraries.

So I need some help.

I love SHINEE's The Reason.

Absolutely love it.

It practically ties EXO's Don't Go for me as my favorite boy group song in kpop.

As far as I'm aware though... The Reason is practically an anomaly on kpop.

To me it reminds me of the alternative rock love ballads I grew up with that were popular around the time I was in high school around the mid 2000s.

Those were my youth. I love that stuff.

I have never heard another song in kpop that is specifically of that sound and construction.

But as I said I'm no expert.

So does anyone know any that are like that?

Kpop's version of mid 2000s alt-rock ballads?

I know this is ultra specific but I figured I'd give it a shot.

Thanks for the help!!!

Mid 2000s alt rock love ballad. For reference.

just some suggestions that kinda could be what you are looking for:

Just showing off my favorite FT Island song

SM could have more gems. Those are two songs I personally feel like could fit what you are looking for though they have more of a sad tone.

And of course some iKON:

Hope this helped.
