You know, there do seem to be some agencies that focus solely on picking up idols from other companies, get to skip the training period and just get to promos. It's kind of surprising that a more enterprising company hasn't figured out a way to do that intentionally, especially at these big companies who take on more trainees than they will ever debut. Like "sure, you can have Jiho's contract" and recoup costs a bit.

at the end of the day it's all about the $$$ no?

I mean one builds or recruits and scouts idols so they can become successful to make $$$ and sometimes they just don't come to fruition. Also I highly doubt another company would buy the legal rights to groups unless said idols within the groups are proven or at least the very least "tested"

Yea they seem to run on the venture capital mode try 10 . get 1 success and 2 break evens 7 up in smoke.
i just think focus could work better for all teh parties. Unless the actual limiting factor is good marketers and producers.
But so many producers have made groups only to suck at the making / marketing.

and like I said in my other thread there may be groups that no matter what the company does it just won't be successful - that is no shame to the company or the group (it is sad) but there's just nothing one can do about it
