Apparently the scenes of Minkyeung (Roa from Pristin) slowly eating her buttered toast or laying in bed while a camera shot her from the top was too "suggestive" so they were cut

Although groups have gotten away with a lot more, all those bathtub scenes in AOA's Miniskirt or the entire Hot Pink MV from EXID for instance.

Anyway, the group lost almost 300K views so stream again I guess It's still a bop.

Stellar is not best comparison though since members got threatened by company when they didn't want to do overly sexy concepts and were uncomfortable when they saw final mvs, even have said that it was traumatic experience

Could it be that the member was uncomfortable with the scene as well? Or could be due to possible backlash or that someone higher up didn't want to push that far and didn't like end product.

It's not a member thing imo which is why I made the comparison. How does tame stuff like this get cut while much more suggestive content gets ok'd

Huh. Well maybe they didn't want it to 19+ territory so it could be broadcasted like you said. Mv's get 19+ tag quite easily in Korea, even some that look tame af. Like Big Bang's Bae Bae is 19+. And the mv's can get banned from broadcast for silliest reasons, one song from F.Cuz was banned cause they had colorful hairstyles in school setting (.. doesn't every kpop mv with school setting have that?) and PSY's Gentleman cause he kicked traffic cone in the mv.

People are way more "woke" is the problem even though those people are usually doing something that doesn't help what they are fighting for
