it takes me an hour to finish one manga volume and for other bigger books 2-3 days

depend on the book, my free time and my mood. I´m not the one to pride myself on fast reading. I read daily, but the amount depends, sometimes it is one page, the other day more.

Depends on how fired up it gets me.

Many many times i have started a book at bed time to stay up all night finishing it.

monster books (~1 k pages) that i waited for release normally i finish in the first 24 -48 hours depending on if i took the day off to read or not.

potter 7 i finished that night after getting it at midnight for example.

When I read manga its usually off the viz app, so its by chapter not volume... but I'd say around an hour. Most of the other books take a varying amount of time. For a 3-400 page book ~2 days.. For a 800+ page book, I could have it done [if I do nothing else] in 4-5 days. But I have done the do nothing but read for 12 hours straight thing before.. and its really draining and I don't like doing it. lol

The Last time i can rmbr how long it took me to finish a book was the latest Song of Ice and Fire book; A Dance of Dragons in hardcover - it took me 1 weekend cos i bought it from a bookstore on like Friday or Saturday n i read it without stopping until i finished it(sleep/food/other necessary activities notwithstanding). Tat was last time i rmbr how long it took tho, cos other books hvnt been as priority since. I just read as n when i feel like, n finish whenever: Reacher, Dresden/Butcher- i just read until i feel like stopping or until i finish. Idk/nvr noticed how long it takes but sth like 1 or 2 days or maybe hrs if i started early in the morning on a weekend? Not much longer than days/a week tops. Unless its a lesser priority book; then it might take weeks/mths/forever; im still stuck on the Complete Sherlock Holmes for mths/a yr? as well as another book: History of the Hobbit- the different drafts of the Hobbit written by Tolkien.

It used to take me 1-2 days but now I’ve been reading the same book for close to 2 years and I’m only half way through
