How to recognize a numbers stan (1 Viewer)

Numbers stans are the only ones I cannot stand.
Visuals stans, music stans, talent stans, personality stans etc... everybody is fine, but numbers stans? Well fuck them!

So here is my short guide on how to recognize a numbers stan, it really isn't hard:

1. They mention other groups being flops compared to their own group
2. They keep on bringing up how well their group is doing compared to your flop faves.
3. They just keep on talking about numbers
4. Esp. about how others are flopping
5. And to them anybody who sells less than their faves is a flop

I'm just so done with numbers stans, fuck them.
I can stan flops all I want if they have hot members with amazing music.

I understand that, I myself kinda try to stay away from nugu groups (and fail at that), not bcs they aren't amazing, but bcs my heart wouldn't be able to take disbandment.

But like... a numbers stan doesn't think about those things, a numbers stan thinks ew they are unpopular.

But they don't care if they are an exception, they don't care if they have banger songs or amazing members.
They think ew, they are unpopular.

And I'm not talking about groups like Dreamcatcher or Weki Meki here. I am talking about ppl calling NCT, Red Velvet, Stray Kids level groups flops.

i can understand if a group's popularity is a part in getting interested in them because in most cases there's simply more content, especially fandom related, coming from the well-known groups (as i said it's not always the case though). what i find completely pointless is when people focus on a group's achievements more than anything else they do... it's almost like they don't stan the group themselves but their sales, views and so on. or even worse, when people automatically assume that numbers equal quality and use this way of thinking to bash unpopular groups.
