ADOR has made a statement regarding NewJeans‘ recent activities after the members terminated their exclusive contract with the company at a recent press conference.

Recently, NewJeans created a new Instagram account called @jeanzforfree.

Not only does the page update fans on the schedules and activities of the members, but the “stories” feature has been used like they previously used Phoning. The members share funny photos and captions, interacting with fans and updating them on the small things they are doing.

On December 18, ADOR made a statement about NewJeans’ activities, specifically pertaining to social media.

NewJeans has dedicated platforms created specifically for communication with fans, as well as official social media accounts such as Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). ADOR hopes that the NewJeans members will continue interacting with fans through these official channels as they have done so far.

She is not a free agent to sign endorsement contracts.
She is likely wholly owned as a public entity by Ador.

It's likely these current advertisements were in the works before NewJeans pulled their no contract stunt so I don't see Ador going after any of them.

The bigger picture though is that the new Instagram is getting traffic for the advertisements the girls are posting that the official account is not so now they're directly damaging Hybe through the advertisements that aren't on their new Instagram.

They probably risk legal action if they do that since ever since Hybe lost the first injunction due to no actual damage being done to them by Min Heejin and they've moved pretty purposeful since then it seems in order to be able to show damages.

NewJeans' Hanni Faces Visa Challenges Amid Legal Dispute with ADOR

New Jeans Hani, a group that insists on terminating its exclusive contract with its agency Adore, met with an ambush called visa extension.

According to the legal community on the 20th, Hani's E-6 visa, which has dual Australian and Vietnamese citizenship and does not have Korean citizenship, is nearing expiration, and it is difficult to extend the visa in the absence of an agency.

Hani can also extend her existing E-6 visa by signing with a new agency, but the Immigration Control Act requires that a foreigner with an E-6 visa be consented to transfer 'to the plaintiff employer if the place of work changes.

In response, it is highly likely that Adore, who even filed a lawsuit claiming that the exclusive contract with Newzins is valid, will not give consent to the transfer.

Another way is to get a new E-6 visa after Hani leaves the country.

However, the E-6 visa has a lot of documents to submit, and unlike other visas, it takes about two to three months to prepare and process the necessary documents, such as issuing employment recommendations from the Minister of Culture, so entertainment activities will not be allowed in Korea for at least two to three months.

The expert explained that Hani does not immediately become an unregistered foreigner, that is, an illegal alien. This is because there is a high possibility that the immigration office will judge Hani as still belonging to Adore.

According to media outlet reports on December 20 KST, NewJeans member Hanni's E-6 (Entertainment and Culture) Visa is set to expire soon.

Foreigners conducting entertainment and culture activities in South Korea for the purpose of making a profit must be issued an E-6 Visa. In order for the E-6 Visa to be issued to an individual conducting entertainment activities, they must meet the following criteria: 1) they must be employed under an exclusive contract with a legally registered entertainment company; 2) they must provide proof of their identity, signed by their employer; and 3) they must submit a letter of recommendation for employment.

Therefore, if the decision by the NewJeans member to terminate their exclusive contracts with ADOR on November 28 KST is legally acknowledged as valid, then this would mean that Hanni is no longer employed by a legally registered entertainment company, failing to meet the requirements for her E-6 Visa. Furthermore, if an exclusive contract is terminated validly, the foreign individual must apply for a different visa or sign a new exclusive contract with a company within 15-days before they are ordered to leave the country.

In response, a representative of ADOR stated, "ADOR's exclusive contract with NewJeans remains valid. Therefore, we are currently preparing the necessary documents to renew Hanni's visa."

Typically, E-6 Visas are granted for 1-year. It is the responsibility of entertainment companies to renew the E-6 Visas of foreign employees each year. It's believed that Hanni's E-6 Visa is due to expire in early 2025.

Also seems like outside of going home and going through the whole application process again then the only other way it get handled is through Ador so I'm intrigued to see if they really die on this hill and Hanni goes back home or if this is the breaking point and she ends up being the Keena because of this as her visa is set to expire regardless.

lol just read something that said after termination a person only has 15 days.
That time has passed so she could be deported.

Or they take it to court and immigration court decides for whom she is working atm..

Either way its pretty clear that right now she is still an Ador employee/contractor since immigration is not knocking on her door. which would imply the other 4 are also.
