I believe (G)I-DLE ~ SENORITA will be a HIT (1 Viewer)

I am actually not a very confident fan naturally, but really since the snippet came out, the title track is really drew me in HARD, i know I am subjective as F, but still Senorita really sounds "UNIQUE" and I love unique stuff in kpop cause it feels FRESH! And then came all the 6 teasers!

First time I play a snippet on loop!

And the whole 6 teasers gave me excitement like a new fan!

SOYEON EATING A RAZOR CANDY

MIYEON CAME FROM HEAVEN

SOOJIN TATTOO OMFG

SHUHUA DROPPED KAJA LIPPIE

MINNIE SO CUTE AND HER VOICE

YOO HO HO GONNA STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR MONTHS

ANTICIPATEEEEEEE

Will I still be alive when it drops feb 26th im not sure!!!

Could go either way. Spanish infused Kpop songs don't have a good track record so far. For example, MAMAMOO's Egotistic under-performed for a MAMAMOO song, let's put aside Wind Flower. But, let's be hopeful. The song sounds good, so far.

But only the name is spanish?
From the teasers it sounds nothing latino like, or at least not in a away most people think latino sound is like.

This will be my favourite title, just the brass and piano tell me that much... Then you add all the imagery in the teasers, It's a bop ok.

Yes I know, well perhaps their aim is the latino audiences in kpop I'm not sure, but you hear the snippet right where either its the prechorus or the chorus not sure yet it sounds so 2nd gen song! The miyeon part

I think this song is not gonna too latino like egotistic or even suju songs like lo siento or otra vez

Oh no I don't mean Latin music. I mean like actual Spanish music. The brass and piano are good example of that. Yeah the song sounds really good, so far for me too.

I don't think Egotistic is very Latino either. I think it has very Spanish vibes, especially with that guitar. Lo Siento is definitely a good example of Latin reggaeton though.

And yes, the song already sounds like a bop! Miyeon's teaser is my favorite too ^^

Oh yeah got confused between Spanish and Latino tho those are similar but diff right?

Yeah I mean egotistic ref is so different than kpop ref but senorita I think will try to mix it more into kpop sounding (well If the snippet is real, should be tho)

And yes Miyeon is SO PRECIOUS, she's glowing so much!!! You like her visual?

Yeah Egotistic is very well made song. I really enjoyed it. It's actually one of my favorite releases from last year, which is partly why I'm so looking forward to Senorita as well. YES I love Miyeon's visual. I actually thought she was the visual lol.

Do you like windflower? I like it a lot, but still my personal mamamoo best is still decalcomanie lol

Well she is kinda the visual no.2 tho cause even on their show they keep telling how pretty she is together with shuhua of course (tbh shuhua is very funny and likeable if you watch their content)

Yes I LOVE Windflower. Tbh all MAMAMOO's title tracks were a hit with me. I don't even know why Windflower did as badly as it did. It's such a good song. Plus the lyrics are so good too.

Ah I don't really watch their content :/ But I trust your judgement ^^

So do I OP
It sounds like a nice continuation of their sound tbh.
I don't know why people are freaking out.
I definitely know i'll love it

Yeah windflower was really really good musically, weird it was underappreciated tbh

Well I recently started to listen to some (G)I-DLE songs, so I hope I like this comeback to fully get into them :~

[Dwragon]

I finally decided to join here, got sick of the song of the week.
Hi to all in Neverland!

Senorita will be a great hit! Only Yuqis Trailer worries me a bit, the MV seems great and Minnies Trailer slayed me!
Miyeon is next level for me, so naturally her Trailer was the best for me

[WhiteWadeWilson]

I am definitely anticipating this comeback since they already set the bar high for me, I am really waiting for something bigger than "Latata" and "Alone".

That is as far as title tracks goes but, for their albums, I want something very different from what they have showed us, I want to see something completely new. Maybe they got my expectations way to high, that's just what they made of me by being my new favorite GG lol.

have you checked the snippet on the OP? it sounds so good tbh

yeah the bar is high and my anticipation level is above the roof man!
