It has been suggested by some that familiarity with a song predicts whether an individual likes the song or not. With songs that one has listened to multiple times are "liked"... There seems to be some illusory correlation here, but lets go with it anyway. If this is true, is there a point to listening to a song more than once to determine if you think it is good or like it or not? Do you personally listen to a song more than once before discarding it?

Personally, I do try to listen to a song at least two times. There are some that no matter how many times I listen I will still hate. There is a specific got7 song that I won't mention.. But I'll usually listen to a song twice.. If I dislike it, I will listen to it in a few months and then if I still hate it, then I will discard it.

I give songs a second chance before I decide I don't like it. I usually don't change my mind even if I hear it again later.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Usually if I don't remember a single thing about the song after listening to it I discard it, but if there's something about the song that I remember and like at all ill give the song another chance.

With kpop especially i am super hard core.
I owe no song nor any act, they exist to entertain me, if i am not entertained and enjoy it i am out.
Very very rarely will i kill a song/artist over the video (i just do not care about videos enough .) although i stop watching when i do not like it.
I will usually try to catch a performance version for say an act i am curious about, bu t again i am only ther for as long as i can take it.
Many many songs do not make it past 30 seconds.
Most bg and flavors of gc for example. Which puts me very out side the norm for international Kpop fan.

Yes, I will listen to a song at least 2 or 3 times. Even after repeated listenings there are songs that I dislike (Red Velvet's Attaboy) and songs that I just don't care for (Ice Cream Cake, SNSD's Galaxy Supernova, and many others).

I will give a song multiple chances because there are some songs that I didn't care for at first that turned into longstanding favorites upon repeated listening. Examples: Linda Ronstadt's Lush Life, Take 6's Milky White Way and ELRIS' Roopretelcham.

I normally give songs at least a few listens before I decide whether I like it or not. I myself can never really tell if I like a song after just one listen.

Sometimes I will and sometimes I won't. There are times when I know right away that I don't like the song, other times when I'm not sure I'll have to listen to it a few times to see how I feel about it.
