The Irukandji jellyfish (/ɪrəˈkændʒi/ irr-ə-KAN-jee) are any of several similar, extremely venomous species of rare jellyfish. With a very small adult size of about a cubic centimetre (1 cm3), they are both the smallest and one of the most venomous jellyfish in the world. They inhabit the northern marine waters of Australia. They fire their stingers into their victim, causing a condition known in humans as Irukandji syndrome, which can be fatal. There are about 16 known species of Irukandji, of which Carukia barnesi, Malo kingi, Malo maxima, Malo filipina and Malo bella are the best known

1000 stronger than a tarantula.
100 times as potent as that of a cobra
Thank you Australia lol

lol Australia has a crazy number of the most poisonous things in the world.
Spiders, snakes, critters of all kinds
It's what makes Australia, Australia lol.
Avoiding them is harder too.
Knowing that they are in spots
that no one notices.

You're a survivor.
:maheart:
I'd be walking around wearing a Hazmat suit and carrying a blowtorch.
Hmmm that won't work, since a funnel web spider can pierce boots and clothing.

Population control then?
Perhaps.

You're going into their territory.
So if you get stung it's not their fault.
Just nature being nature.
culling is not really necessary imo.
