Nope, I honestly wonder if the company can survive Black Pinks departure. I think we're about to see an implosion. If they have taken loans out with stock as collateral and the stock drops at a minimum the difference and sometimes the entire loan immediately comes due.

I don't see Baemon picking up the slack on the budgeting aspect, same for the boys.

They've hit it big with BP but repeating such a perfect storm is definitely not an easy feat to replicate.

Their strategcy really makes no sense, they should have debuted Baemon a long time ago to get a better understanding of the situation, now they can just hope for the best and believe Baemon will work out exactly like BP did

According to reports and the survival show interviews, it seemed like he had a personal interest in making sure they will by being involved.

But, I think he just didn't anticipate or expect the setback effect BP's contract renewal would have; so now he's scrambling to settle that first.

its a bad business model to put all your eggs in the same basket. Just like it isn't a good idea to fail to diversify your portfolio of shares despite the fact that you are sitting on gold. Only dummies do that. I learned all of that from my daddy! He may have forced me to learn how to swim but thankfully, not just in the water!

They'll debut Baby Monster since having a girl group is important for public image but I think YG is wondering how hard they should go on the song since if they somehow retain Blackpink then there's not as much pressure to come storming right out of the gate with Baby Monster however if they lose Blackpink then they can't afford to play around and the delay being indefinitely gives YG as much time to try and assess and deliver how they see fit.

I remember I saw some video, where they claimed Girl Groups are often used and debuted to cover up scandals.. I also feel like this is what YG is trying to do at least. Really sucks for the Babymon girls to be stuck in this limbo now

I mean if you think about it, HYBE was in a similar situation and they did absolutely everything in their power, to diversify. In my opinion they also did a really great job at that.

If BTS dissapears today and never returns, it will obviously mean a big loss for HYBE, but I would not be worried that the company will go bankrupt, as they have established enough other great groups now (or just acquired them like SVT)
