To be fair it's fine to go that long without getting married if both people in the relationship are on board with that even though it financially isn't beneficial as marriage gives a lot of benefits for couples over other relationship statuses but I'd imagine the fact this ended one of them likely did want it and this long together if it hasn't happened you'd need to have a serious conversation about your stances and if you can't compromise then this becomes the outcome

Any relationship requires effort, and living together / married is a 24/7 job. You coast you deserve it to implode.

That is what prenupts are for.
I think any one who gets married with any assets at all let alone 7-9 figures + should each have one.
Its not about trust its about clearly setting out what is on the table.

That's what it seems like and he was leaning that way for most of the last decade.
I would have pulled the trigger 2018 or 19 at the very most. no matter how special a person is if they are not aligned on family its time to leave.

I think in this case wanting a family might have been a factor as if an idol in a relationship does get pregnant unexpectedly then you start having a sudden marriage announcement so it's possible Sooyoung while wanting kids I heard was not willing to halt her career for it yet and the drifted apart is just flowery language honestly to dressing up their goals clearly weren't aligned anymore as she would have known marriage wouldn't have been the only step if she agreed to it just the first

I think it is in the sense that a lot of our motivation on maneuvering relationships will come down to money since that is usually most crucial for allowing us to live comfortably as we can't be careless with it so it makes these kind of decisions more logic based around money. For celebrity couples this is not the same since either one of them could be the breadwinner and be able to have a comfortable life so then ego is a lot more likely to get in the way like if the marriage was just a precursor to having kids then it was very likely that Sooyoung saw it as being asked to give up her career as especially in Korea she'd definitely have been the more likely to end up raising kids.

Nannys could work but depends if that's something they would have wanted and you can certainly have an acting career and have kids but it depends both on how successfully established the actress is at the point they take time off for kids and how old the child is to go along with that as once the kid is old enough to go to school you just work around it that way usually

Oh he probably does feel that way and it's possible she'd be more motivated to have kids with someone else as I have heard that Sooyoung has said she wanted kids and at her age she is pushing it for a woman but in the end relationships are complicated
