i actually loved how fx was managed all the members were allowed to have solo activities of their own on the side and then about once every 3 years they would come back together for group promos..if jyp plays their cards right their next it girl could come out of itzy

and the lack of individual promotion
and the lack of fandom name for 5+ years

or official content
or official accounts
or variety
or just most anything really because it's been a meme for like a decade that sm did them dirty lmao
so yeah that didn't turn out well now did it

i think it's easiest to just compare it to like bigbang who actually managed that well + a succesful group career. But even then 3 year gaps is too big for a group that isn't established yet and in a hysterically quick and saturated market so. Doing what BTS and a few other groups have been doing of having solo tracks in full albums is fine too.

But really, it's not that outrageous but Soshi and BP do it better
I'd be fine if my faves came back once a year with a quality album but spent the rest of the year promoting as individuals, provided one of them does music.

That's the key to longevity imo

Unfortunately we all know JYPE isn't capable of it

I don't think ITZY girls are solo material just yet. Also, I hope nobody ever promotes a group like SM promoted f(x).
