They were never very clear but she missed the majority of the 2023 tour and months after. She did say on that show (w/ Seulgi, Yeri)earlier this year that she felt lost and didnt know who she was.

Soyeon left sm they did not kick her. When they drop stories about ppl who were almost snsd the only one that really was in was her. She was slated to be leader and snsd would have 3 main vocal's with her Taeyeon and Jessica.

Tsuzumi is said to have what i feel is a really scarry MH issue for a idol. Their whole career is about change.
And she is such a brite and happy person.
