first going to start off by saying i honestly don't care about oneus or ravn. so i have no reason to hate on him or defend him.
but i saw wayyy too many people defending him in the thread about him leaving over a bullshit statement. the parasocial relationships are really parasocializing ๐ฌ
the amount of people here and on twitter defending this guy because the statement was "all fake" is really startling to me because...can't you guys read? i will go over the important parts of the statement because so many people just glossed over it.
the most important parts of this statement are
while checking the facts of the case, we discovered false information and malicious editing included in the posts circulating regarding Ravn
so they found some false information. that does not mean the accusations are false.
regardless of the validity of the circulated posts, we feel responsibility for our inadequacy in artist management
"regardless of the validity" so they don't know if it's true or not.
RBW is purposely writing in a very vague manner but if you actually read and analyze what they're saying, they say "details" are not true, not "the whole thing is false" and "regardless of the validity of the statements". It's a commonly used marketing tactic to downplay the severity of a situation.
is everyone forgetting the audio recordings? i may not be a oneus fan but even i know that tomoons like to praise ravn for his "distinct" and "unique" voice. and now suddenly it could be anyone? even though it sounds exactly like him? and the bubble messages where he practically begs fans to buy him things, even sending his body measurements?? yeah that's not fabricated.
and please, let's be realistic. oneus is not a very popular group. the amount of people i see calling the accuser a "clout-chaser" or "attention-seeker" ma'am what clout are they chasing? cause they're not gonna get any from oneus stans.
i'd like to say it again, they found some false facts. THAT COULD MEAN ANYTHING. that could mean the accuser said he was wearing a red hat on x day, but he was actually wearing a blue one. rbw can take that and say it's a false statement. for all we know that's the false part and everything else is true. it could also mean they found several holes in the accusers story. we don't actually know. the statement is INTENTIONALLY vague and misleading.
also there are hundreds of idols out there you can stan. you don't need to latch onto one who is attached to such a serious controversy. yall are being so disrespectful to your fellow women defending him when there is even the smallest chance he really did all these horrible things.
