but I saw after it could’ve been seen as telling peeps mark shouldn’t have been added back, and then saying shut up

I mean Dream itself can become mature. The concept is they are on until a certain age then graduates and move to a diff group. Why not just have the concept be they go from young boy concepts to mature men concepts. Hence why they graduate.

The part where apparently they held a graduation and he left but he came back and people are angry? That's the way I understood it.

Yeah dream wasn’t intended to be a fixed unit. I think the idea was that sm would put the young members (minors) into a group, and when they would become adults, they would move on. As nct was supposed to be limitless, new faces would come in to the group and move out over time.

mark was the first the graduate when he got old enough but there were mixed reactions towards it since many fans were attached the dream’s current lineup and didn’t like the idea of them changing. Sm in response, did make nct dream a fixed unit and put mark back. Ofc, with the limitless concept axed, i think that makes the original ideas behind dream out of date regardless.
