tomorrow I'm going to see a doctor about my physical and mental health and I'm honestly worried about what I might hear because deep down I know I've been pushing things away. sometimes I feel like running away from everything and not accepting anything I receive because I believe that I'm the worst person. I've spent more than half my life wondering why I'm never good enough and I feel so undeserving, but then again those kinds of thoughts require as much of a management routine as exercise regimes to me. it's tiring to convince myself everyday of the reasons why my past never said anything about me, nothing I was told about myself, and even what my own mind has led me to believe over the years isn't true. none of it meant that I'm a bad person, all along it was just that I'm a product of my circumstances. no one said the path to healing would be easy. 5 years ago I could've never imagined I'd change this much and finally want to get better, to be able to say things like this and believe them. I remember how hopeless I used to feel back then, and I don't want to return to that. It took every part of me to get here, and I don't want to give it up.
