ELLE: This is your third time attending the Onitsuka Tiger show in Milan. What does the brand mean to you?
MOMO: My first encounter with Onitsuka Tiger was during a magazine shoot, early in my solo activities. I was nervous about shooting alone, but wearing their pieces gave me confidence and helped me discover a new side of myself. Their Milan shows keep evolving, and I admire how they always push boundaries.
ELLE: You also visited the Onitsuka Tiger store in Milan. Did any items catch your eye?
MOMO: Lately, I’ve been into striped patterns, so I picked up a striped T-shirt. I also loved a light blue polo shirt—the color was beautiful, and I think it would look great with denim pants. My recent favorite is the MEXICO 66 series in yellow—I’d love to use it as a pop of color in simple outfits.
ELLE: What was your favorite look from this shoot?
MOMO: The black gilet and bottom set-up with a lingerie-style camisole. The ribbon details were adorable, and it had a unique design for Onitsuka Tiger. I had seen this outfit at last year’s show and wanted to wear it, so I was happy to do so. The new denim line is also stunning—the color tones and silhouettes are just perfect.
ELLE: What are your thoughts on Milan? Any memorable experiences?
MOMO: The first time I came for the show, I visited a restaurant with a view of the Duomo—the food and scenery were amazing. That experience left a strong impression on me, and I love how Milan itself feels like a painting. Last time, I got hooked on Gambero Rosso (red shrimp), so I made sure to have it again this time!
ELLE: What dreams do you still want to achieve? What is important to you in making dreams come true?
